Practicing 'stay'. Old dogs CAN learn new tricks!

Rocky is so proud of his xmas sweater and his beautifully executed "stay"!

This is the list of doggy misbehaviour some recent clients presented us with during our assessment. Fortunately, all these problems boiled down to a few simple causes and the issues were resolved in one visit. Talk about effective dog training!

Here are Brodie, Brutus and Bridget showing off the sitting skills they learned during a week of in-home dog-sitting. Aren't they a handsome bunch?

Here's Alvin the Flat-coated retriever pup doing what he does best -- investigating!

We're just about to head to the off-leash area for all kinds of fun and adventure!

The coldest days of the 2013-2014 Polar Vortex were hard on most dogs. Rocky was no exception. During the coldest days he needed a little help to stay warm!

Sammy loves the off-leash area. During a winter in-home sitting bout, Sammy visited the park at least once per day.

What they're really saying is, "Is it time for our supper yet?"

Trixie (on the right) came to us with severe anxiety issues manifesting all sorts of ways. Her caring adopters have done a great job rehabilitating her. See their comments on our Testimonial Page.

Sammy loves the dog park and visited it at least once per day during our week-long in-home dog sit.

Here they are, settling into for a solid evening of begging and one-upmanship.

The amount of information transmitted between dogs at the off-leash is truly incredible. See if you can identify inter-dog signals in our photos of Sammy's off-leash adventures.

How many inter-dog signals can you identify in this image?

Rocky came to board with Pooch Perfect for a few days and settled right in!

Is Sammy chasing or catching up? What do you think?

After a few weeks of rehabilitation she settled right in with her new family -- despite her several anxiety issues. Thanks to the great adoptive family who did so well in learning and applying Pooch Perfect's rehabilitation techniques. See their comments on our Testimonials Page.

Based on the information in this photo, what signals is the shepherd cross (centre) sending to Sammy (left)? Which ones is Sammy sending back?

Oscar is a rescued Belgian Tervuren who came to Pooch Perfect after he began herding the family's teenage daughter. She was quite frightened but a thorough assessment revealed nothing but minor issues that were resolved after about two weeks of rehabilitation with Pooch Perfect. See the family's comments on our Testimonials Page.

Enjoying the rain?

Cutest dog ever! And so proud to know a few more skills!

Working the 'stay'. Old dogs CAN learn new tricks!

Charming as ever. Good dog Sammy!

Behaviour consult -- pants ventilation provided earlier by Misty Blue! Right now Mark is saying "Good Girl!"

Taking a quick break from his favourite game -- run and chase!

Adding 'sit' to the recall. One dog down, one to go!
